Have you laughed with your children lately?

Don’t you just love to hear a baby laugh?  When Alex was young, I called his giggling, chuckling and laughing, “Music to my ears.”  I decided that I didn’t want a day to go by without my hearing him laugh.  So, in a rare day when I couldn’t recall the laughter, I would tickle him at bedtime.  Just so that I could again hear that…Music to my ears.

What about you?  When’s the last time you heard your child laugh?  When’s the last time you laughed with your kids?  Laughter is the divine peace maker.  You simply can’t stay angry when you’re laughing!  Humor is healthy, fun and puts things into perspective.  It helps you not take yourself so seriously…and that’s a good thing.  So, make sure that you hear your kids laugh, and laugh with them loudly, often and like this baby…with all you’ve got!

Enjoy your kids!

Some of my best memories i have of when my children were little, were the times we spent laughing and enjoying each other. They often did funny things so the opportunities to laugh were many!

Thanks for sharing; I needed this today. Just got back from visiting my 8 month old and 2 1/2 year old grandsons. We live about 2200 miles apart 🙁
