Parents need to nurture their children’s talents

This baby obviously has rhythm—she’s not just moving…she’s moving in time with the beat.  So, here’s my premise:  At very young ages, kids really begin to show their personalities, talents and traits.  Your job as parents is to discover and then nurture these abilities and provide opportunities for them to continue developing.  I don’t know if this child will end up in the arts—singing, dancing, playing music.  But what I do know is that she has an innate sense of rhythm and is in tune with music; and this makes her happy, keeps her interest and allows her to express herself and be physically active.  These parents will want to keep music as an important element in her life.

How about you—what talents do your kids have?  How can you help them develop to their full potential?  For more information about finding your child’s inner talents, check out Your Child’s Inner Brilliance…Parent Guide to Discovery at betterparentinginstitute.com and download or order your hard  copy today!

I agree. I would add that child explore various talents at various ages. Support them in these efforts as they grow. It will pay dividends in the end.

Yes, I so agree. Kids really will let us know the general direction of their path to becoming who they are meant to be. Take the cues from them, and they will have great opportunities to explore their various talents. Thank you for commenting. Dr. Vicki
